THE REgion III Executive Board NEEDS YOU!
POSITIONS OPEN!
Secretary and
Region III Supervisor available.
Two-year positions on the Executive Board of Region III. Meet virtually and in person with other Executive Board Members to keep the region running smoothly and advocate for all members.
Notice: The June 2023 Meeting of the Members at the Region III Championships on 6/17/23 will include voting for Region III Secretary and Region III Supervisor. Nominations should be in by June 1, 2023. Send all nominations to the current Secretary <Marci.siegel@gmail.com>

President
The President shall be responsible for the following duties:
Facilitate board of directors and executive committee meetings in a timely and business-like manner.
Appoint committee chairpersons.
Provide communication from the EVUSA to Region III regarding the policies of the EVUSA in cooperation with the Regional Supervisor.
Provide communication to the EVUSA at the request of a Region III club in cooperation with the Regional Supervisor.
Be a co-signer on the Region III bank account.
Perform all other acts and duties usually required of a presiding office, with the ultimate goal to benefit vaulting programs.
TREASURER
The Treasurer shall be responsibility for the following duties:
Keep an accurate record of receipts and disbursements.
Pay bills and issue checks for all funds authorized by the Executive Board.
Provide a treasurer’s report at each Board of Directors Region III meetings as well as the Region III Annual Meeting.
Present the annual budget and financial report for approval at the annual meeting.
Hold all monies in a proper account under the name “AVA Region III”.
Be a co-signer on the AVA Region III bank account.
Maintain financial records so that they are available for inspection at any time.
Provide the EVUSA all required forms to maintain the Region III affiliate status in good standing.
File any reports necessary to maintain Region III as an affiliate of the EVUSA under the provisions of IRS Code 501(c)(3).
SECRETARY
The Secretary shall have overall responsibility for all record keeping. The Secretary shall be responsible for the following duties:
Attend all Region III meetings and keep a record of the same.
At meetings, take role by club and verify delegates.
Provide notice of all Region III meetings to the Region III members and clubs.
Authenticate and archive the records of the corporation.
File forms with the State of Oregon necessary to continue the corporation and its nonprofit status.
Maintain a master calendar of events, clinics, competitions, meetings, and other items of interest to Region III.
Verify that Region III Board members and voting members are adult members of Region III.
REGIONAL SUPERVISOR
The EVUSA Region III Supervisor is elected through the EVUSA and shall be responsible for the following duties:
Function as a liaison between the EVUSA and Region III.
Interpret EVUSA standards.
Support Region III growth.
Report any changes in administrative structure of Region III to the EVUSA Vice President of Membership.
Represent Region III on the EVUSA National Board.
